EnviroGroup Launches with Breakthrough Hydrogen-on-Demand Technology
SACRAMENTO, California – June 19, 2025 – EnviroGroup Technologies, a clean technology company based in California, officially launched today to commercialize a breakthrough hydrogen-on-demand solution that has the potential to reshape the future of clean energy. At the center of EnviroGroup’s offering is its patented eCatalyst (eCat) H2 pellet—an innovative, dry, non-toxic fuel that produces 99.999% pure green hydrogen instantly when mixed with water.
Originally developed in collaboration with the United States Department of Defence, the eCat H2 pellet technology eliminates the need for compression, high heat, rare earth minerals, or external electricity—addressing long-standing barriers in hydrogen transportation, storage, and cost. The pellets are safe for general freight shipping, including by air, and enable clean hydrogen production directly at the point of use, anywhere water is available.

To support commercial rollout across North America, EnviroGroup has partnered with HyVera Distributed Energy, a majority-Indigenous-owned Canadian company focused on domestic deployment and system integration. HyVera will lead initial demonstration and production projects in Nova Scotia and British Columbia, with additional facilities planned in Ontario and the Prairies.
